This item is very difficult to use and cannot be done safely by one person. Following the directions I laid the carrier on the bed, then placing my baby girl in position and used the strap attached to secure her to the carrier. One word dangerous, the strap is very small and offers no practical use. From there i tried to place the carrier on my back and about dropped her while trying to put straps on my shoulders. Once i managed to get it situated on my back with many close calls of her sliding out, I made adjustments until she was done and had enough. Not enough space for her to feel comfortable and she actually was in pain by having her legs around my back because the only way for this carrier to be safely used is to pull the straps tights to keep her from falling out. Very disappointed because the carrier has a really nice look to it and the material is soft but comfort and safety of my child trumps all. I have returned this item.

We had the baby Bijour and the Ergo baby carrier. Baby Bijour was fine when the baby is an infant but once the baby is 5-6 months my back and my husband's back started to hurt. We liked it because it allowed the baby to face forward or inward. But once our back started hurting, we stopped using it and bought the Ergo Baby. It's a lot more comfortable because of the waist band and the baby's weight it's on your hip and less stress on your back. The only thing is that the baby can't see what's outside because it's inward , side carrier or on the back only.

I was sooooo happy when I found Lillebaby Carrier. My son is so happy that he's able to face forward. Every time I put it on and start walking, he starts laughing because he's able to see everything around him. He's able to interact with people when they come to him.

The only thing is, I wish the material is the same the Ergo baby carrier. It just seems like it's not as durable as the Ergo and it doesn't have a zipper pouch on the carrier like the Ergo. But over all, I'm happy as long as my son likes it.

I used the Bjorn with my daughter for the first 3 months and couldn't wait for her to fit into an Ergo. I tried the infant insert with the Ergo and it didn't work out at all (she wasn't happy, positioning weird, too hot). The Bjorn isn't very comfy and you can't nurse in it. The Ergo is just too big for the under 6 month crowd. BUT... the Nordic is perfect! Very comfortable for baby and mama right from the beginning because the seat adjusts for small babies (vs the Ergo which is very wide and the baby has to really spread their legs). There is no need for an insert, you can nurse in it very easily, and you can wear the baby forward as well (you can't in the Ergo)!! My little one needs to be facing out once in a while as she fusses if she is facing in too long. I have a 3 year old to keep up with, so I think it is great that I can change positions to keep the baby happy as long as possible in the carrier. She sleeps facing in or out and is a very happy baby in this carrier. She is in it for at least 4 hours a day and I have no pain. It is very, very comfortable. It looks nice, and is very easy to put on (easier than the Lillebaby Everywear because the straps are padded like the Ergo, not adjustable). Two criticisms: there is a sleep hood attachment, but it does not come with the carrier and is not for sale on Amazon, and there is no pocket on the carrier (although you can order a cell phone case for $15).
